As a result of Sacred Drifting upon 6 Continents, intimately connecting with various cultural communities and Earth-spaces, and bearing witness to the radical shifts in consciousness, catastrophic climate destabilization, and social inequalities presently taking place on Earth, a vision for Circular Communities arose and continues to expand.

Who are we?  What are we?  Why are we here?

A vision is not the manifestation.  It is a blueprint, a map if you will, that needs to be Danced Awake by the Collective.   When the seeds of a vision are planted, all the necessary elements need to be drawn towards the vision in order for it to manifest.

The human condition is complex and it will need compassionate attention in order to change the direction in which humanity is headed.

THE PHYSICALITY OF THE VISION

Hakka Circular Communities-YouTube

In 2017, Visionary, Lisamarie Coyote Windwalker, intending to design the Circular dwelling that rose through her conduit, decided to look up circular dwellings on the Internet for a pattern; up popped the Dine/Navaho Hogan, which was not the image she received, and the Chinese Hakka.  To Lisamarie’s surprise, the Hakka was exactly the image that arose in the vision for the Circular Community, plus or minus several details!

The enormous circular dwelling in her vision included the following:

1.     Circular Earthship/Hakka inspired construction with green/garden roofs, solar panels, green exterior walls, and an atrium in the south for growing food, medicinal herbs, flowers, and mushrooms through all seasons.

2.     3 – 4 stories high

3.     Entrances/Passageways in four directions; size depending on Earth-location.

4.     Each resident or couple would have a private dwelling on each floor.  Elders or those with physical limitations would have access to a ground floor space.  Families would occupy a space that would have multiple floors depending on the size of the family.

5.     Communal Kitchen/Dining area

6.     For the Circular Community that Lisamarie envisioned, the open-air center would hold a Zen monastery, a kiva a.k.a. a sound chamber, a sweat lodge and gardens.

7.     For other Circular Communities the open-air center may be used for what that community would call for. For example:  The Lakota of Pine Ridge may want to have a ceremonial fire in the center where the community eats and does ceremony together, or, perhaps a place to protect the buffalo.   In South Africa, the center could be for trade or community or ceremonies…

8.     The Earth-spaces around the Circular Community dwelling would be for growing food, cultivating bio-diverse forests, mycelium, aquifers, ponds, marshes, fruit orchards ect.

At some point in the continuum of Earth, most likely beyond our lifetime, the vision calls for many Circular Communities arranged in a Fibonacci Pattern.

Fibonacci Numbers in Nature

In geometry, a golden spiral is a logarithmic spiral whose growth factor is φ, the golden ratio. That is, a golden spiral gets wider (or further from its origin) by a factor of φ for every quarter turn it makes.

Longhouses were not measured by feet. They were measured by camp fires. Although each family had its own assigned place in the longhouse, fire pits ran down the middle of the longhouse for heat and for everyone to share to use for cooking.  A longhouse might be referred to as 10 fires long, or perhaps as 12 fires long.

It doesn't sound like much when you count by fires. But longhouses were really long - they could be over 200 feet long, 25 feet wide, and 25 feet high. That's huge! To get an idea of how big they were, measure the distance from floor to ceiling in your own house.

You can imagine something that big took a lot of work to build. And it did. It took work and teamwork.

CIRCULAR COMMUNITY BIODIVERSITY VISION

THE ONE STRAW REVOLUTION by MASANOBU FUKUOKA

Call it “Zen and the Art of Farming” or a “Little Green Book,” Masanobu Fukuoka’s manifesto about farming, eating, and the limits of human knowledge presents a radical challenge to the global systems we rely on for our food. At the same time, it is a spiritual memoir of a man whose innovative system of cultivating the earth reflects a deep faith in the wholeness and balance of the natural world. As Wendell Berry writes in his preface, the book “is valuable to us because it is at once practical and philosophical. It is an inspiring, necessary book about agriculture because it is not just about agriculture.”

Trained as a scientist, Fukuoka rejected both modern agribusiness and centuries of agricultural practice, deciding instead that the best forms of cultivation mirror nature’s own laws. Over the next three decades he perfected his so-called “do-nothing” technique: commonsense, sustainable practices that all but eliminate the use of pesticides, fertilizer, tillage, and perhaps most significantly, wasteful effort.

PSYCHOSPIRITUAL CULTIVATION and EVOLUTION OF COMMUNITY AND EARTH TOGETHER

All around the Globe individuals and communities are “waking-up”/maturing, hearing the call of Earth, and acting upon this call…

THE DREAM OF THE EARTH by Tomas Berry

“If the supreme disaster in the comprehensive story of the earth is our present closing down of the major life systems of the planet, then the supreme need of our times is to bring about a healing of the earth through this mutually enhancing human presence to the earth community. To achieve this mode of pressure, a new type of sensitivity is needed, a sensitivity that is something more than romantic attachment to some of the more brilliant manifestations of the natural world, a sensitivity that comprehends the larger patterns of nature, its severe demands as well as its delightful aspects, and is willing to see the human diminish so that other lifeforms might flourish. “

NATURE AND THE HUMAN SOUL…Cultivating Wholeness and Community in a Fragmented World.

JOURNEY OF SOUL INITIATION…A field Guide for Visionaries, Evolutionaries, and Revolutionaries… BY BILL PLOTKIN

https://www.animas.org/

What is the Earth-Mother asking of us at this time in our evolution together?

SHE IS SPEAKING THROUGH US.  ARE WE LISTENING?  ARE WE HEARING HER?

“Addressing the pervasive longing for meaning and fulfillment in this time of crisis, Nature and the Human Soul introduces a visionary ecopsychology of human development that reveals how fully and creatively we can mature when soul and wild nature guide us. Depth psychologist and wilderness guide Bill Plotkin presents a model for a human life span rooted in the cycles and qualities of the natural world, a blueprint for individual development that ultimately yields a strategy for cultural transformation. If it is true, as Plotkin and others observe, that we live in a culture dominated by adolescent habits and desires, then the enduring societal changes we so desperately need won’t happen until we individually and collectively evolve into an engaged, authentic adulthood. With evocative language and personal stories, including those of elders Thomas Berry and Joanna Macy, this book defines eight stages of human life — Innocent, Explorer, Thespian, Wanderer, Soul Apprentice, Artisan, Master, and Sage — and describes the challenges and benefits of each. Plotkin offers a way of progressing from our current egocentric, aggressively competitive, consumer society to an ecocentric, soul-based one that is sustainable, cooperative, and compassionate. At once a primer on human development and a manifesto for change, Nature and the Human Soul fashions a template for a more mature, fulfilling, and purposeful life…”

by BRUCE PASCO

“In this seminal book, Bruce Pasco uncovers evidence that long before the arrival of white men, Aboriginal people across the continent were building dams and wells; planting, irrigating, and harvesting seeds, and then preserving the surplus and storing it in houses, sheds, or secure vessels; and creating elaborate cemeteries and manipulating the landscape. All of these behaviours were inconsistent with the hunter-gather tag, which turns out to have been a convenient lie that worked to justify dispossession.

 UBUNTU CONTRIBUTIONISM

A Blueprint For Human Prosperity by Michael Tellinger is an interesting understanding of the ‘human predicament’.  I don’t all together resonate with all of Michael’s ideologies/attitudes, yet, there are deeply important points to pay attention to and implement into a Circular Community.  https://www.ubuntucontributionism.org/

We are co-creating a blueprint for a new social structure, a new system, a new reality, without the need for any violence, opposition, resistance, or conflict. All the socio-economic structures of our individual countries have failed us dramatically. Every day we witness a continued assault on our people and the world around us, orchestrated by the global elite who have taken control, of every aspect of our existence. Every single one of us, rich or poor, is born into life-long slavery and bondage from which there is no escape under the current system. Most of us know that the system we are born into does not serve humanity, but very few of us know what to do to change it.

We can no longer sit idly, watching the destruction of our people, our communities, our countries, and our human potential, by greedy corporations supported by governments with no remorse for their actions, or accountability to the people they are supposed to serve. We can no longer sit silently, hoping that someone will do something to stop this assault on our liberties and future prosperity. It has fallen on the shoulders of the common people, to unite and create a new way…a new system…a future filled with abundance and prosperity for ourselves and our children. We are creating a totally new system free from economic slavery… where we turn competition into collaboration… a new social structure where we all benefit from our collective efforts and individual talents… a new world where people are put before profits, and the resources & materials are used to enrich all our lives. Welcome to the world of UBUNTU and Contributionism.
